Feelin' good!

Yikes! My last post was over a month ago! And I was doing so good there for a while! Ugh....typical of me!

In my defense, I did have a couple of weeks where I was pretty miserable feeling, and didn't do much of anything. Praise the Lord for a fantastic husband who's ready and willing to jump in and do what needs to be done when Mommy is out of commission!

So far, the pregnancy is going great - we've already gotten to see the baby once (nice strong heartbeat - yay!), and we'll get to see it again in a little over a week. For my first doctor's appointment, Michael was gone on overnight drill, so he didn't get to go, BUT, my sister was here visiting so SHE got to go! It went really well, and I really like my doctor. :)

We had a great Thanksgiving - we thought it was just going to be the 4 of us, and when it's just the 4 of us, we go to Golden Corral and let them do the cooking and clean-up! A few days before Thanksgiving though, we had some friends of ours invite us over to their house, and we had such a wonderful time! We're so thankful for great friends.

Right now the next big thing we're gearing up for is Christmas! I have about 1/2 of my Christmas shopping done (maybe a little over 1/2), but I haven't even STARTED doing my Christmas cards yet, and to be honest, that's stressing me out more than my shopping is - lol! We got our tree this past Friday night, so I think we're going to decorate it today. We were going to decorate it a couple of days ago, but Laynie fell asleep really early that night, and we didn't want to do it without her, so we waited. I'm excited the kids are big enough to have fun with decorating the tree this year - they're so excited!

Well, I'll sign off for now - hopefully it won't be another month before my next post - we'll see!
